What should I focus on when selecting a new kitchen faucet?

"For a quick and relatively easy kitchen update, start with your kitchen faucet. This is the most often-used part of your kitchen. There are literally thousands of options, so where do you start? First, make sure that you ask about faucet construction. You want a faucet that is made of high-quality metal with ceramic interior parts. You can save a few dollars with plastic interiors, but you’ll pay down the road with leak repairs and early replacement. High-arc, pull-down faucets are very popular as are touchless models, which save water and make cleaning pots and trays easier. Stainless steel is still the most popular finish, though mixed metals and matte finishes are growing in popularity."
