Mansion in May Designer Showhouse

The Woman’s Association for Morristown Medical Center presents the 18th Mansion in May Designer Showhouse and Gardens. The event will be held at Alnwick—The Abbey in Morristown. Proceeds will be used to establish the Center for Nursing Innovation and Research at Morristown Medical Center. General admission entrance is between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Private and guided tours begin at 9:00 a.m.

Montclair Art Museum Exhibition

Through June 18, 2017

The Montclair Art Museum presents "Matisse and American Art," one of several exhibitions highlighting American art influenced by the French master. It features paintings, archival objects, sculpture, prints, and works on paper juxtaposing 19 Matisse works with 44 works by American artists. The exhibition is complemented by a major scholarly catalogue, "Matisse and American Art," and two concurrent exhibitions: "Inspired by Matisse: Selected Works from the Collection" and "Janet Taylor Pickett: The Matisse Series." Keyport Garden Walk

June 3-4, 2017

This free, self-guided walking tour features over 40 public and private gardens in historic Keyport. Pick up your KGW Garden Guide (map included) at the Keyport Waterfront Park pavilion. Gardens are available for viewing from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Complimentary pedicabs will be available for visitors who would like to enjoy a 15-20 minute ride past select gardens. Free Garden talks will be held both mornings at Keyport Borough Hall (70 West Front St.) at 9:30 a.m. The Keyport Garden Walk has been named the "Best Outdoor Event" in the Asbury Park Press Readers' Choice Poll for the last four years. Local musicians will provide live music.

Ocean Grove House Tour

August 4, 2017

The 49th Annual Ocean Grove House tour will feature outstanding renovations , ocean views and fantastic kitchens. The self-guided tour—running from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.—includes historic homes as well as a tent home, an inn, and other historic buildings. Bucks County Designer House & Gardens

The Village Improvement Association of Doylestown presents its Designer House & Garden Tour at Hill Crest Manor, located at 3690 Burnt House Hill Road in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. This year's event benefits Doylestown Hospital. Portions of the farmhouse date to 1808. The residence features 19th-century elements such as a hand-pulled doorbell and a "cash window" where field hands collected their pay. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Group tickets (minimum of 15) can be purchased for $20 each.

Gardens and Glass

GlassRoots, a Newark-based organization which supports underserved youth and young adults through instruction in glass art, hosts its Spring event, “Gardens and Glass,” to be held at the Van Vleck Gardens in Montclair. Co-hosts are artist/furniture designer Tucker Robbins and Curtland Fields, President of the Turrell Fund, a supporter of youth organizations. The event features brunch, tea, live music, glassmaking demos, and exhibits of GlassRoots handmade objects as well as those of other New Jersey makers and designers. The event takes place from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tickets are $75.

Nature from a Different Angle

The Monmouth Museum's "New Jersey Emerging Artists Series" will present "Nature from a Different Angle" by Daniel Sroka. The exhibit takes place in the Nilson Gallery at the Museum, located at 765 Newman Springs Road in Lincroft. The Opening Reception on April 28th will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sroka's Gallery Talk will be held on May 17th from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Both the Opening Reception and the Gallery Talk are free and open to the public. Giving Tables

Town & Country Kitchen and Bath of Red Bank will host its 3rd Annual Giving Tables event to benefit Lunch Break. Local designers will show off their tablescape talents. Opening night is June 8th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Admission is open to the public. Attendees will enjoy light fare and beverages prepared by neighborhood eateries. Guests will also meet the talented designers and have the opportunity to shop Town & Country's Mini-Market. Seashore House Tour, Long Beach Island

Monmouth Museum Exhibition

Monmouth Museum in Lincroft presents “Animal Architects: Influences on Human Creativity,” on display in the Main Gallery.
