Gallery Jupiter Gallery Exhibit — The Flower Show
June 8 - July 14
Judith Trammell has gathered a few of her favorite artists for “The Flower Show,” an exhibit opening Thursday, June 8th, in her Little Silver gallery. “I’m thrilled to be presenting such a joyful exhibit while everything is in bloom. The opening starts at 6 p.m. and everyone is invited,” says Judith, also one of the exhibiting artists.
“The artists in the exhibit express their love of flowers using different techniques ranging from oils on canvas to pano-photography and stunning metallic prints. Anyone who wants to freshen up their home will find something lovely to take home,” she added. All of the art is representational, although works by Meryl Blinder, Gary Steven Groves, and Andrew Bernard lean heavily into abstraction.
Cathy Corcione, Barbara A. Friedman, Deb Jellenik, Monica Nask, and Beth Sillen round out the roster of artists in the show. Cathy Corcione’s paintings of potted plants have a dreamy, peaceful quality. Barbara Friedman is represented by a painting of just one Shasta Daisy. Monica Nask favors profusions of unpicked flowers in natural settings, and Beth Sillen lovingly paints tulips and daffodils standing simply in glass jars.
“The Flower Show” will open on Thursday, June 8th, 2023, from 5 – 8 p.m. It will run through July 14th, 2023. The Gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This exhibit is free and open to the public.
