All-American Style

In honor of our nation’s birthday, we round up what’s red, white, blue — and new — as our thoughts turn to the colors of the American flag, picnics, parades and memorable get-togethers with loved ones and friends.  Happy 4th!

CELEBRATE OUTDOORS

  • The cheerful Carnival Napkin Ring — in a burst of red, white and blue — is paired with the Fiesta Napkin in navy and red. For a fuss-free soirée, the designer incorporated the Bamboo Melamine Plate and Chinoiserie Melamine Tumbler and Goblet.  All available through Kim Seybert.

  • A vintage Shibori textile established the global-inspired tabletop scheme created by Kim Seybert. The Fiesta Reversible Placemat in white and blue highlights the patterned runner with its playful laser-cut design. www.kimseybert.com

  • A classic red bandana — tied around a glass vase — adds a fun, festive touch to the floral centerpiece with tiny flags for good measure.

  • Left: Fabrics from Premier Prints are saturated with a durable water repellent, which intensifies the products resistance to water, soil, oil and stains. Also great for use indoors in sunny or high-traffic areas.

Right: The buffalo check pattern — as seen on these totes —“are a big trend right now,” says Meg Curtis of Premier Prints. www.premierprintsinc.com.
