5 Mexican Design Companies That Should Be On Your Radar

As Cinco de Mayo approaches, we’re celebrating Mexican culture by putting the spotlight on movers and shakers in the Mexican design world. Some of these companies have been in business for half a decade, others for half a century. They all have one thing in common – a commitment to quality.


Arther, Guadalajara

Arther has been a restorer of antiques for over 50 years. The company also fabricates new furniture using techniques that have been practiced for centuries. The resulting artisanal pieces show the varying characteristics of wood to their best advantage.

Nomade Atelier, Mexico City

This design and production studio, founded by Diana Quintero Vallejo and Ismael Bachri in 2012, is made up of artisans, architects and visual artists. They work with local workshops and craftspeople to create unique products that have an industrial vibe.
