Introduction Letter

Dear Colleague,

It's hard for me to believe that the first issue of Design NJ was published nearly ten years ago. In many ways, it seems like yesterday. Those early planning meetings were so exciting. At the time, New Jersey already had a lifestyle magazine and a few publishers had made unsuccessful attempts to launch a regional design magazine, but what we were planning was new and different. The timing was right and the impact of the magazine was huge. Design NJ set a new standard. We are proud of the leadership role that the magazine continues to have.

Our philosophies today do not deviate from what we established nearly a decade ago. “Invest in the best writers and photographers. Develop an editorial policy for accuracy and integrity that is unprecedented. Offer advertisers an affordable and valuable advertising opportunity and make a fair profit.”

These guiding principles, together with 58 years in the magazine publishing business, are helping us maneuver through these unprecedented times with experience and integrity. Now, more than ever, value and honesty are critical when deciding who you will do business with. Design NJ offers you both.

This year's editorial calendar includes some traditional reader favorites and unveils a host of new topics that we believe will be of interest to readers in the year ahead. Our award-winning content promises to inspire, educate and entertain throughout 2010.

Below is a short list of reasons why Design NJ is a sound advertising investment for your business:

  • Our readers indicate that no media experience (web, television or social media) is as rewarding as quiet time spent with a glossy magazine. It is a great environment to promote your products, services and brand. People need magazines.
  • We offer you a better product at a fair price.
  • Our knowledgable staff provides service that is unmatched.
  • Advertising in Design NJ gets results.

When you choose to do business with Design NJ you will work closely with an Account Manager to an advertising plan that can help you accomplish your marketing goals for the year ahead. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss your challenges, objectives and goals for the year ahead.

Sincerely,

Tammy Keck
